a) Information stored locally on your device

By default, the extension stores your dashboard data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This includes:

• Notes, to-do items, and saved mantras or quotes.
• Bookmark and link preferences.
• Background photos you select or upload.
• Clock, countdown, weather, and general display settings.

This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers unless you choose to sign in to sync your settings.

b) Account information (only if you sign in)

If you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address.
• Your display name.
• Your date of birth (optional, used for personalization such as birthday greetings).
• A securely hashed version of your password (we never store passwords in plain text).
• Your synced dashboard settings (general, to-do, mantras, photos, quotes, links/bookmarks, and balance preferences).

c) Feedback you send to us

When you submit feedback through the extension, we receive:

• The feedback message you write.
• The email address you provide (optional, used to reply to you).
• Basic technical context such as your operating system, browser name and version, and locale, which helps us reproduce issues.

d) Browser permissions used by the extension

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions, used strictly for the features they enable:

• storage — to save your dashboard data locally in your browser.
• tabs — to open links from your dashboard in new or existing tabs.
• bookmarks — to display your bookmarks on the dashboard. Bookmark data is read locally and never transmitted to us.
• topSites — to show your most-visited sites for quick access. This data stays in your browser.
• alarms — to power countdowns, reminders, and scheduled notifications.
• notifications — to display reminder notifications you have set up.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and maintain the dashboard features you use.
• Sync your settings across devices when you sign in.
• Respond to feedback, support requests, and questions you send us.
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the Service.
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may share limited information only in the following cases:

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
